Bug fixes, speed improvements and some new small features, here comes the new stable version of Dragon UnPACKer : 5.6.1 !

The main news are:

• Important bug fixes (sort columns for example).
• HUGE speed improvement in displaying previews/popups for files with lots of entries.
• New games file formats supported:
  • Ghostbusters: Sanctum of Slime .PAK
  • Ghostbusters: The Video Game .POD

Here is finally the new stable version of Dragon UnPACKer : 5.6.0 !

The main news are:

• The program now works correctly under Windows Vista/7 with UAC activated and without administrative privileges needed. This was causing the infamous "Always in French" problem... Sorry for that, I will be testing the program under a system with UAC activated from now on.
• Reduced the use of third party non-Lazarus compatible libraries.
• HypeRipper 5.6: Integrated the plugins to the core (no plugin support anymore). I hope this can help me develop a multi-threaded version of the HyperRipper. This version should also be a little bit more reliable and fast than 5.5d.
• Many bug fixes and usability enhancements.
• New games file formats supported:
  • Battleforge .PAK
  • Dragon Age: Origins .ERF
  • Sid Meier's Civilization V .FPK

Time for the second unstable version of 5.5 series: 5.5.1 Beta !

So what's new?

• Bug fixes, mostly cosmetics ones but bugs nonetheless...
• HypeRipper 5.6 Beta 2: Fixed searching file formats. Speed should be a little bit better!
• No new games file formats supported in this version.

So what's new?

• Mostly behind the scene changes, this version is still entirely compiled with Borland Delphi 7, but with few modifications it should already work quite fine compiled under Lazarus\Freepascal.
• HypeRipper 5.6 Beta 1: Merged plugin into the core and removed plugin support!
• Removed use of JCL & JVCL libraries (now using standard VCL ones)
• Many bug fixes and usability enhancements.
• New games file formats supported:
  • The Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena (with some limitations) .XTC and .XWC
  • F1 Manager 2000 .RFC/.RFD/.RFH (partial support)
  • The Fifth Element .MRC
  • Prototype .RCF
  • Scarface .RCF
  • Vietcong .CBF (full support: decrypt & decompress thanks to Luigi Auriemma)
